• Rock Band Warm-Up Game: Energetic games to get everyone moving and ready
to rock!
• Music Theory in Action: Learn the basics of music in a fun and engaging way.
• Song Breakdown & Focus: Dive deep into a classic rock song, learning new
techniques and skills.
• Band Playthrough & Discussion: Collaborate with your bandmates to bring the
song to life.
• Rock Out Challenge: Show off your skills and creativity with weekly challenges.

We believe that performing is an essential part of learning music. That's why we offer numerous opportunities for our students to showcase their skills, including recitals, concerts, and competitions. We also have a student ensemble programme, where students can collaborate with their peers and perform in a group setting.

I'm Mr. Benjamin Dunkley, and I'm here to ignite your child's inner musician. With 10 years of experience as a music specialist and a background in Primary Education, I bring a well-rounded approach to fostering a love for music in young minds.
My journey began with a bachelor's degree in Primary Education, but music has always been my true passion. Witnessing the joy and confidence sparked by musical exploration is what drives me in the classroom.
Whether it's strumming power chords in our rock band, plucking playful melodies in the ukulele club, or harmonizing beautifully in the school choir, I create engaging environments where students of all skill levels can thrive. My proficiency in both guitar and ukulele allows me to connect with students through hands-on instruction and performance opportunities.
My strengths lie in building student involvement, scaffolding success for every learner, and instilling a solid foundation in music fundamentals. I believe music is a powerful tool for self-expression, collaboration, and personal growth.

My name is Elaine Howard, and I live and breathe music! It's been a lifelong journey that started with a music scholarship at Perth Modern School and continued with studies at UWA, where I also explored dance and performance at WAAPA.

My name is Elaine Howard, and I live and breathe music! It's been a lifelong journey that started with a music scholarship at Perth Modern School and continued with studies at UWA, where I also explored dance and performance at WAAPA.
For over 20 years, I've had the joy of sharing my love of music with students in both private studios and schools across WA and NSW. From singing and piano to cello and dance, I've taught it all! I've also had the privilege of directing choirs and ensembles, and performing with some amazing companies.
My career has taken me beyond the classroom, too. I've mentored young musicians and bands, worked in PR and marketing for the music industry in NSW and Queensland, and even coordinated arts and music festivals. And yes, I've even graced the stage in musical theatre productions – singing, dancing and accompanying!
Currently, you can find me teaching piano and singing at St Thomas Primary School and leading Early Childhood Music programs throughout Perth. Working with special needs children as a music educator and therapist is another aspect of my work that I find incredibly rewarding.
Music is more than just notes on a page; it's a powerful tool for expression, connection, and joy. I'm dedicated to nurturing musical talent in all its forms and creating enriching experiences for every student.

Lachie is passionate about sharing his love of music in a fun environment, whilst creating educational and social opportunities.
In addition to his teaching, Lachie has toured nationally with his original band, 'Sprinter', and boasts extensive industry experience, having supported renowned rock bands around the world.
